1. Using the platform

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account.

2. Locals & travelers

Locals offer their time and knowledge; travelers arrange meetups directly. LocalVietnamGuide is an introduction platform — any activity, tour or payment agreed off-platform is between the two parties.

3. Travel Pass

A Travel Pass unlocks unlimited messaging with locals for its validity window. Passes are non-transferable and, except where required by law, non-refundable once messaging has begun.

4. Acceptable use

• No harassment, spam, or sharing of others' personal data.
• No attempts to bypass safety features or verification.
• Respect local laws and the people you meet.

5. Liability

We work hard to verify locals, but we are not liable for the conduct of users or the outcome of any meetup. Use common sense and meet in public places.
